Why it matters

OptimistFi's case is that Artisan Partners can create value if its boutique active-investment teams keep attracting sophisticated clients to differentiated strategies.

This filing is mixed for that view because it confirms a $168.7 billion AUM base and shows Artisan Funds and Artisan Global Funds exceeded separate accounts and other AUM by $11.7 billion.

The release also says autonomous investment teams oversee a broad set of strategies. That is the structure the investment case depends on.

International Value and Global Value were the two largest named sleeves. The rest of the table was spread across credit, equity and specialty strategies.

That gives investors a dated benchmark for the platform's breadth on September 30, 2026.

This report is preliminary and covers one date, so it is a baseline rather than a full read on the business.

What's next

The next observable evidence is the next quarterly AUM report.

A higher reading would strengthen the case that Artisan's asset base stayed firm. A lower one would weaken it.
