Viking (NYSE: VIK) EVP reports $2.26 million share sale under spouse’s trading plan

What happened

Jeffrey Dash, an EVP at Viking Holdings Ltd (NYSE: VIK), reported selling 25,000 ordinary shares on Nov. 4. The trades ran under a Rule 10b5-1 plan that Dash's spouse adopted on June 3, 2026, the filing says.

The shares sold in multiple trades at prices from $90.00 to $90.49. The weighted average price was $90.23, for about $2.26 million in total.

The sale appears on the filing's line for indirect holdings, labeled as held by Dash's spouse, and 395,022 shares remain on that line. Dash disclaims beneficial ownership of those shares. Separately, Dash holds 208,468 shares directly, including 109,904 unvested restricted units that each convert into one ordinary share at settlement.

Why it matters

The sale trims a minority of the spouse-held position. By OptimistFi's calculation, the 25,000 shares were 6.0% of the 420,022 shares held before the trade.

Dash's direct position was not part of the sale. The filing shows those shares include restricted units that have not yet vested and convert into ordinary shares only at settlement, so part of that stake still depends on vesting.

The timing is documented. The plan was adopted on June 3, 2026, months before the Nov. 4 trades, and an attorney-in-fact signed the Form 4 for Dash on Nov. 6, two days after the sale.

OptimistFi has argued that Viking works if its premium, destination-led model keeps commanding demand and price. A preset sale of this size does not test that view, and the case is unchanged.

The caveats cut both ways. The plan was adopted before the trade, which points to a routine disposal. At the same time, the reported sale sits in shares Dash does not claim to own, so it says little about the executive's own stake in the company.

What's next

Viking's next quarterly report is the next test of the case. Evidence there that demand and pricing are holding would support OptimistFi's view, while softer pricing would challenge it.
